Seeking full time specialist with an immediate start!

*History KS3 Supply Teacher * Halesowen * Easter start*


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History KS3 Supply Teacher to join our team at a secondary school located in Halesowen. This position will commence from Easter and continue through to the conclusion of the summer term.

Key Responsibilities…

1. Delivering high-quality History lessons to Key Stage 3 students in accordance with the national curriculum.

2. Planning and preparing engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.

3. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic success and personal development.

4. Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to maintain discipline and promote a positive classroom atmosphere.

5. Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to students and stakeholders.

6. Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

7. Participating in school-wide events and extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements…

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

2. Experience teaching History at least Key Stage 3 level, preferably within a UK school setting.

3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History education.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.

5. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

6. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a supply capacity, covering short-term assignments as required.

7. Eligibility to work in the UK.
