We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a partnering school in Shrewsbury.

Within the large school with many opportunities for students and staff, the role is a full-time position, commencing from Easter until the end of the academic year, providing an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to make a significant impact in the lives of their students.

Job Title - Maths Teacher

Position Type- Full Time, Temporary (Easter Start until Summer)

Key Stages: 3 & 4

Line Manager - Head of Department

Pay Scale – MPS/UPS

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 3 & 4 Maths curriculum

• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and succeed. Manage behaviour effectively, adhering to school policies and procedures.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department and across other subject areas to share best practices, resources, and strategies for enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.

• Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians

• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in extracurricular activities, such as after-school clubs, revision sessions, or educational trips, as appropriate.
