We are working with a school who are trying to recruit a PE Teacher!

Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (Full-Time)

Location: Telford & Wrekin

Duration: Easter to Summer Term

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis from Easter to the end of the Summer term. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging PE lessons that promote physical fitness, skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students. Some planning may be required.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Develop innovative teaching strategies to enhance student participation and enjoyment in physical activities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and ethos.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field (essential).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching PE at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of health and fitness principles, as well as various sports and recreational activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their personal best.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
