Seeking Telford Science Teacher to start from May Half Term

Overview…

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science education to students, fostering a love for the subject, and facilitating their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities…

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring the curriculum is covered effectively.

- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance the learning experience and promote active participation.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.

- Develop and implement differentiated instruction strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that integrate Science with other subjects and real-world applications.

- Foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress, academic achievements, and areas for development.

- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities to contribute to the overall school community.

Requirements…

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level, with a comprehensive understanding of the relevant curriculum frameworks.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds, with a commitment to student success and holistic development.

- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and create an inclusive learning environment.

- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes.

- Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
